LeasePlan Corporation
LeasePlan is a company specialized in the management of company vehicles (“fleet management”).
Founded in the Netherlands in 1963 following a joint venture between a bank and a company
providing services to drivers.
In 2003, the holding company of the LeasePlan group was renamed LeasePlan Corporation.
Since 1st February 2010, the shares in LeasePlan are held by the Volkswagen Bank GmbH (50%) and
Fleet Investments B.V. (50%). Volkswagen Bank is a subsidiary of Volkswagen Financial Services
AG; Fleet Investments is an investment company of German banker Mr. F. von Metzler.
