Socially responsible
More and more companies consider successful business not only being the result of profit
optimisation, but also requiring responsible behaviour in their relationship with the other
economic actors, the environment and the society.
Numerous companies have acknowledged their social responsibility by implementing procedures
inside their respective structures and their business organisation. By doing so, a company
imposes itself a social and environmental mission. It respects all its “partners”, i.e. the
workforce, the customers, the suppliers, the shareholders, the population and the habitants of
the whole planet.

In the automobile leasing business, CO2 emissions and their impact on global warming are among
the most predominant topics of concern. Therefore, LeasePlan has launched GreenPlan initiative in 2007. It features a number of
measures aiming to help our customers reduce their CO2 emissions, notably through a more
responsible choice of vehicles, through fuel consumption limits or through adopting an
appropriate driving attitude...
But there are other charity, environmental and economic initiatives LeasePlan has implemented
at global and local level. To learn more click on ChildPlan and Local
